NECKLACE GIVEAWAY! Enter to win :)

Good morning all and Happy Monday! What better way to start the week than a wonderful prize!

This week, I am making an original piece for a silent auction at the Assisi Institute http://www.assisi-institute.org/ this organization uses Yoga to blend Eastern and Western spirituality! I have created 3 different necklace ideas but need your help on which one I should create for this exciting event!

WHAT YOU WIN: You will get to choose an Eastern Karma necklace with an Om, Tree of Wisdom or Lotus charm pendant!! (photos shown left)

HOW TO PLAY: Show in the left column are 3 necklaces, All you have to do is simply click on the comments link just under this rules list and tell me which necklace you think is the best. Please read the details about om and chakras below to fully understand what the elements of the necklace mean. Also, leave your email address in the comment so i can reach you if you win!!

TO WIN: I will randomly select a name from the entrances and email you. You must respond to get your prize.

About Om: Om is a focal meditation mantra (saying) originating in ancient India. It is also used in Buddhism and in recent years has become popular in western daily life as well! Peace, meditation and relaxation techniques have taken over many forms of allopathic therapy in the United States as a natural remedy for stress, and related conflictions. The chakra are 7 points connecting the body and mind ~focus on each of these parts helps to relax oneself and allow guidance and wisdom. In the bottom stones, each colored stone in the necklaces represents a chakra. The lotus is seated position used in meditation, mimicking the shape of the lotus flower. The last necklace idea is the om pendant, with the lotus linked to the side. Thanks so much for your help everyone!!

I'll probably choose the Sterling Silver om and lotus detail as it combines both elements onto a single necklace perfectly. Definitely the best one to make! Plus out of the three, this would be the easiest to match with most outfits.

Cheers,

My favorite out of the three is Sterling Silver om and lotus detail. It's a safer choice than the other two pieces as the colored beads may clash a bit with some colors of clothes people wear. And i always believe simple & chic designs are the best to choose for accessories! Nonetheless, all three are great designs!! :) Great job!

I'm not being original, but I would also choose the sterling silver om and lotus necklace. It's simple, for everyday wear, and I love the symbolism.

Personally, i'll say Sterling Silver om and lotus detail. For me, i seriously think that the most important factor is the target market? Since the "Assisi Institute uses Yoga to blend Eastern and Western spirituality", i really think this necklace would suit them best, seeing as how they may find this necklace a perfect union of 2 elements of the om & lotus. Commendable effort for all 3 pieces though!!

I love the om and lotus. It's simplistic yet so powerful of a piece. Simplicity in jewelry is truly back in. I think it's amazing when one small piece can say so much. It's definitely the one :) Your work is amazing Sarah!
